Painting as a process
My paintings are a journey in a sense into the unknown with only my intuition to rely upon. I am directed by the work to answer the questions and discover the solutions. My intention is to communicate more of a memory rather than a representation through the use of texture, color, soft geometric shapes, random gestural marks and layered surfaces.
